A call up letter is a letter that NYSC sends to registered Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) calling them for National Youth Service Programme.


 5 THINGS NYSC CALL UP LETTER WILL SHOW YOU

Below are five important things NYSC Call-up letter will show you;

1️⃣ NYSC call up letter will show you the State you are posted to serve

2️⃣ It will show you the Date you should report to NYSC Orientation camp (you can report any date before swearing in date)

3️⃣ Call up letter will show you name and address of Orientation camp to go ( _some might be posted to particular state and have their orientation program in other states.. note this_ )

4️⃣ It will show you basic NYSC camp requirements

5️⃣ Another thing NYSC call up letter will show you is your personal details including your Call-up number and Batch.

Note: Pay attention to the address of Orientation camp it will show you. This is because NYSC may

post you to a particular State and ask you to camp in a different State.

For example, NYSC may post someone to Abuja, and ask the same person to camp in Niger State Orientation camp, this is because of protocol and overcrowding a particular camp. So, pay attention to the State you’re posted to, and address of the Orientation camp.

  The NYSC 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Course is scheduled to hold in all NYSC Orientation Camps as follows: Commencement/Registration: Thursday, 15th February, 2024. Cut-Off Date for Registration: Sunday Midnight, 18th February, 2024. Swearing-In Ceremony: Tuesday, 20th February, 2024. Closing Ceremony: Wednesday, 6th March, 2024. 2. All prospective Corps Members slated for the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective camps as stated on their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the camp with their International Passports and original copies of all uploaded documents. 3. Prospective Corps Members are strongly advised not to embark on night journey to the Orientation Camps in order not to endanger themselves. They are also advised to break their journey if it is going beyond 6:00pm and pass the night in military or police barracks, NYSC Secretariats, Corps Lodges and other safe places.
