  The NYSC 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Course is scheduled to hold in all NYSC Orientation Camps as follows: Commencement/Registration: Thursday, 15th February, 2024. Cut-Off Date for Registration: Sunday Midnight, 18th February, 2024. Swearing-In Ceremony: Tuesday, 20th February, 2024. Closing Ceremony: Wednesday, 6th March, 2024. 2. All prospective Corps Members slated for the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation Course are advised to proceed to their respective camps as stated on their Call-up Letters. Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the camp with their International Passports and original copies of all uploaded documents. 3. Prospective Corps Members are strongly advised not to embark on night journey to the Orientation Camps in order not to endanger themselves. They are also advised to break their journey if it is going beyond 6:00pm and pass the night in military or police barracks, NYSC Secretariats, Corps Lodges and other safe places. As an emergency response to the declining growth of education in Taraba State, I approved new allowances for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in Taraba State schools: - An additional Ten thousand naira (#10,000) will be added to their monthly allowance. - A one-time payment of Fifty thousand naira (#50,000) as a medical allowance. - An accommodation allowance of Twenty-five thousand (#25,000) naira per term, totaling Seventy-five thousand naira (#75,000) for three terms. In addition to these allowances, exceptional Youth Corps Members serving in our Schools, will be offered automatic employment opportunities. What NYSC PCMs Need To Know About Discrepancy In Name

In previous years, the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) had been condoling some certain things, when it comes to inconsistency/mismatch of names on vary documents required for the one year national service. However, they have made some critical changes in regards to such situations. Hence we deem it necessary to enlighten prospective corp members (PCMs) about these changes that might affect their service year, if not properly checked. What to know about Discrepancy In Name for NYSC Registration: All prospective corp members should note the following; The names of PCMs on the NYSC portal must tally with that on their statement of result issued by their institutions. Addition/Removal of names will not by allowed anymore on the NYSC portal. But minor corrections like rearrangement of names, correcting minor mistakes in names spellings, will still be allowed on the PCMs dashboard. Although not after registration in camp.
